Welcome to beautiful Camp Josiah

Camp Josiah is a Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church of Cedar Bluff Virginia.  The camp is located approximately 2 miles away from the church.  This 32 acre camp property  has been owned by the church for over 40 years, but only in the year 2000 was the real vision of Camp Josiah realized.  That year we held our first Camp session in which we saw 27 souls receive Christ as their savior in only one week!  We have come a long way since then and the purpose of this page is to let you know of the exciting opportunities Camp Josiah holds for your church.

The camp itself is a 32 acre property located in rural southwest Virginia close to  the Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia borders. The camp features a full-size gymnasium with full length indoor basket ball court that also can serve in just about any function from a service meeting place to a dining hall and more.We have a boys’ and a girls’ bunkhouse which are fully equipped with complete shower facilities.  Each bunkhouse sleeps at least 50.  For added privacy, the bunkhouses are located on opposite sides of a hill. The property is also bordered on three sides by a creek that can be stocked for fishing.  We have two large playing fields for just about any activity you can dream up.

The camp is very affordable!   For a standard 5 day camp session we offer the camp for $40 per camper.  Your staff and helpers stay free!  We are not out for profit with this ministry.  We simply have been blessed and want to share this   incredible camp with your church group.   Other rates can be worked out for retreats or even weekend activities.  Just give us a call. As of right now we are only able to offer the camp for rental without full services due to a lack of  workers.  It is our prayer that God will send forth laborers so that Camp Josiah can become a full service Camp ministry very soon.  Please pray with us.
